Project for consolidation and modernization of Romania's natural gas transport system, executed on the Onești-Isaccea section and flow reversal (Phase 2), with the main purpose of modernizing the Onești natural gas compression station. Edge Round Design S.R.L. executed a complex range of works, including: mechanical works on pipeline systems, realization of metal support structures, application of non-destructive testing to ensure joint quality, as well as installation of technological components specific to gas compression stations.
Edge Round Design S.R.L. carried out the restoration project of the Jet A1 aviation fuel storage depot for Otopeni airport, a crucial project for optimizing airport operations. The works included a wide range of mechanical activities, focusing on modernizing technological installations specific to aviation fuel storage. Repair of existing tanks was also carried out to ensure their integrity and safety. Throughout the project, specialized technologies were applied and non-destructive testing works were performed to verify execution quality and compliance with the strict standards of the aviation industry and fuel storage.
The project carried out for Visser & Smit Hanab B.V. aimed at a major repair and modernization intervention at a large-capacity industrial incinerator. Edge Round Design S.R.L. successfully managed the replacement of critical components, namely superheaters II and IV, essential parts in the energy recovery process. Work was also carried out to replace the furnace membrane walls, areas subjected to extreme temperatures and operating conditions. These interventions required exceptional technical expertise, specific materials and high-precision welding and assembly techniques, contributing to the improvement of efficiency, reliability and operational safety of the industrial incinerator.
Edge Round Design S.R.L. executed complete repair and modernization (revamp) works for tank R8, with a capacity of 10,000 m³, located within the OMV Petrom Arpechim Refinery. The project, carried out in 2021, aimed at complete tank reconditioning through necessary mechanical works, according to technical specifications. These included all essential stages: from procurement of necessary materials and components, their pre-assembly, to final assembly, high-quality welds executed by qualified personnel, application of specific paint for anti-corrosion protection and performance of technical tests (including non-destructive) to ensure tank compliance and safety. The project was delivered completely with all associated technical documentation.
